Ok, enough with the emails. I am not a sexist. Sister missionaries are the best. Loved having them in our district. They brought grace and maturity. So, you don’t have to write me anymore hate emails about how these lists I have are only geared toward men and elders. There are recent guidelines issued by the LDS Church regarding the shoes that sister missionaries should wear on their mission. I had to really look around for recently returned sister missionaries that could come up with lists of the best, most comfortable, most practicable and most stylish shoes recommended to sister missionaries. I know nothing about these things. You may find shoes that are better for you. If you have complaints about this list, please email President Obama.
The guidelines for sister missionary shoes, recommended by the LDS Church are as follows:
Shoes and boots should be practical, comfortable, attractive, and appropriate for the climate and condition of your mission. For safety purposes, wear closed-toe and closed-heel shoes. Flat-soled shoes or shoes with low heels are preferred, unless otherwise authorized by your mission president. You may use shoe inserts to increase comfort and support. Wear a dressy pair of shoes for Sunday meetings.
The LDS Church even provides a list of some (rather good looking) shoe choices. There aren’t any links from their website on where to buy those particular shoes. Those are just examples. See the Examples . Here is the Photo that is displayed on the LDS website of Sister Missionaries wearing shoes:
So here you go with a good list of recommended shoes for LDS Sister Missionaries: (IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER)

*Mission Thought: My Dad told me before I left on my mission that living with a companion is great training for marriage. I have now been married for 9 years and I agree. Living with my wife is a breeze compared to some of the personalities I was stuck with.

*Mission Thought: My Sister went on a mission 10 years ago. Obviously, at a time when the men missionaries outnumbered the lady missionaries 10/1. When she got home, she married the missionary that was AP when she got there. No harm, no foul. My guess, and it is only a guess, is that there are going to be a lot more returned missionaries from the same mission getting married. So, look your best ;}

No Worthless comments about The shoes? Nope, couldn’t think of any. I would hate to have to wear high heels on a mission though.
